A Coffee County corner kick in the 10th minute turned out to be the only score of the night as the CHS Lady Raiders beat Tullahoma 1 nil on Thursday night. Allie Amado served the ball into the box and Karson Young poked it past the Tullahoma keeper for the game winner. Senior keeper Hollie Smithson and the rest of the Lady Raider defense were equal to the task in making that goal stand up in the remaining 70 minutes of the contest.
The win improves the Lady Raiders record to 4 and 1 on the season and 1 and 0 in district play. Coffee County travels to Cascade on Tuesday for a 5:30 PM game with the Lady Champions in a non-district matchup.
