Mayor wants to close portion of Wall St. Alley in Tullahoma

The Tullahoma Planning Commission has slated Aug. 15 to hear public comments on Mayor Lane Curlee’s proposal to block a portion of the Wall Street alley to vehicular traffic.
The roughly 110 foot portion in question runs southward alongside London’s Sports Bar – from the London’s-owned parking lot ramp behind the bar southward to the alley’s intersection with West Lincoln Street.
In a memo sent to the commission, Curlee proposed the move “to better facilitate pedestrian movement” in downtown Tullahoma.
