The Red Raider baseball team completed a weekend sweep of Warren County on Saturday at Powers Field with a crushing 11 to 0 victory over the Pioneers. Nathaniel Tate was splendid on the mound as the sophomore pitched a complete game 2 hitter to get the win. Tate struck out the last 2 batters he faced in the 5th inning of the Mercy Rule shortened game to be named the Thunder Radio player of the game. At the plate, Tate had a double and 2 RBI.  The Raiders banged out 8 hits led by Zach Wise who was 2 for 2 and reached base after being hit by a pitch. Gavin Husted also was perfect on the day with a hit and a pair of walks. Both Wise and Husted scored 3 runs apiece. The Raiders return to district play on Tuesday when they welcome Lawrence County to Powers Field. The game has been designated as Pink Out Night – Breast Cancer Awareness Night. Thunder Radio will bring you the broadcast of the 5:30 PM game beginning with the pregame show at 5:20.
