Mr. Henry Taylor Stevens, age 89, of Monteagle, Tennessee, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Sewanee, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his parents, Foster and Ethel Crowe Stevens, brother, Edward “Toopie” Stevens; son, Sam Stevens; grandson, Josh Stevens.
He is survived by his children, Susan Williams, Jennifer (Daryll) Smiley, Denise Hill, Troy Stevens; brothers, Carl Stevens and Frank Stevens; sister, Pauline McCanless; 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
A memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday at Monteagle First Baptist Church with Dr. Daryll Smiley officiating. There will be no visitation. Online condolences may be made at www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
