A Tullahoma man was arrested on Tuesday (March 1) on drug related charges.
Phillip Wade Underwood, 55, of Cedar Lane Apartments was charged with possession of schedule VI, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.
Tullahoma Police Officer Rocky Ruehling was dispatched to an apartment in Cedar Lane Apartments to investigate loud music. According to the officer’s report, when Underwood opened the door the officer allegedly smelled a strong odor of “burned marijuana.”
The officer entered the apartment and saw on a computer desk a glass bong, and other paraphernalia and pieces of marijuana. According to a police report, Underwood became “agitated and did not want to sit” while the officer searched the apartment and he struggled with Ruehling.
The officer allegedly found inside the apartment and in the desk, marijuana and paraphernalia with marijuana residue. Allegedly Underwood said that the marijuana was his and that he ordered it online from Colorado and had it shipped to him.
Underwood was booked into the Coffee County Jail under a $3,500 bond and is to appear in General Sessions Court on March 24.
