Manchester Police Investigating Shooting

Pernell Rollins of Manchester was transported to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga after being shot last Wednesday.
In Officer Jordan Watson’s report, Rollins, 29, of Murfreesboro Highway was shot as he went to his porch to enter his residence.
Officers asked Rollins for permission to search his residence but he objected to it. He was then transported to Unity Medical Center and later flown to the Chattanooga hospital. We have no report of his condition at this time.
After obtaining a search warrant, Manchester Police Investigator Jonathan Anthony entered the home and made sure the shooters were not inside.
The investigation continues.
