Elevated demand and seasonal refinery maintenance kept upward pressure on the price of gasoline last week. The national average price for a gallon of gasoline rose 2 cents from last week, while the average in Tennessee went up 3-cents to $2.02 per gallon.

The price per gallon dropped in Coffee County over the past week. In Manchester the low price as of Tuesday afternoon was $1.88 and in Tullahoma the low price was a $1.91.
