Alta Adean Green McBride, age 85 of Manchester, Tennessee and former
Asbury community resident, passed away into rest on October 8, 2015 at
the Horizon Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was a retired seamstress
at PCA Apparel Industries, Inc. and Tennessee Apparel in Tullahoma and
was a member of the Red Hill Church of Christ in Manchester. She enjoyed
cooking, sewing and spending time with her family and friends. Mrs.
McBride was preceded in death by her late husband, Winton McBride who
passed away in 2006; parents, the late William Howard Green and Eula
Wiser Green: sister, Mary Ruth Adcock; and brothers, Carlton Green,
Thurman Green and Lloyd Green. She is survived by her son, Neal McBride
of Hillsboro, Tenn.; brother, Marvin Green of Chattanooga, Tenn.;
sisters, Marie Adcock of Shelbyville, Tenn. and Penny Bryan (Dexter) of
Hillsboro, Tenn.; grandson, Scott McBride (Christa) of Manchester, Tenn.;
two great-grandchildren, Taylor McBride and Madelyn McBride; numerous
nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
