Billy “Bill” Joe Williams, age 75 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on September 8, 2015 at the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. Mr. Williams was a retired Pizza Hut Restaurant Manager, a football, baseball and basketball coach and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Bill or “Horn” as he was known by many people, was also a United States Army Veteran serving in the 101st Airborne Division at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorris W. Williams and Kate Louella Williams. Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Lola C. Irwin Williams of Manchester, Tenn.; children, Christie D. Williams of Manchester, Tenn., Stan Williams (Gina) of Franklin, Tenn., Brad Williams (Kim) of Franklin, Tenn. and Julie L. Brawner (Neil) of Nolensville, Tenn.; sister, Carolyn; brother, Gerald Bowen of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Lauren DeFoor (Josh), Cody Williams, Nolan Brawner and Emma Brawner; one great-grandson, Jaxson Wayne DeFoor; and a host of other relatives and friends.
