CCMS soccer player Jenna Garretson
A first half goal was all the scoring that Coffee County Middle School soccer team would need on Saturday as they blanked Warren County in a crucial CTC Conference match in McMinnville. The lone goal was scored on a build up between Jenna Garretson and Julia Duncan as Duncan netted a shot at the 20 minute mark. The Lady Raider defense was spotless on the afternoon, even after losing center back Kyleigh Harner to injury just before the half. Duncan was moved to center back in the second half as the Lady Raiders pitched a shutout to improve their record to 4 and 0 on the season and 3 and 0 in conference play. Coffee County will host Tullahoma on Thursday afternoon for a 5:00 PM conference match at CCMS.
